Julius Kwame Anthony Vows Responsible Communication as NDC Deputy Communication Director

Julius Kwame Anthony has accepted his appointment as Deputy Director of Communication for the National Democratic Congress, pledging to protect the people's mandate through factual messaging.

The appointment follows approval by the Functional Executive Committee earlier in the week.

He expressed profound gratitude to the Functional Executive Committee, specifically naming Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey and National Communication Officer Sammy Gyamfi.

Anthony called the appointment both a privilege and a solemn responsibility in a message released shortly after the Functional Executive Committee approved his nomination. He sees this role as critical for the party's direction.

Commitment to Accurate Messaging

Anthony committed to the party's cause. He aims to lead a stable democracy that delivers socioeconomic development for the people of Ghana.

He further dedicated himself to the protection of the people's mandate through accurate, factual and responsible communication. This pledge comes as the party seeks to strengthen its communications machinery under the Mahama administration to sustain gains made under the Reset Agenda.

He thanked the entire membership of the NDC and all individuals who have directly or indirectly supported him throughout his journey thus far.

He noted their encouragement, guidance, goodwill and steadfast support have been invaluable. Anthony remains deeply grateful for the role each supporter has played in his growth and this achievement.

He closed by thanking the leadership for the trust and confidence reposed in him to serve the party and the Ghanaian people effectively.
