The National Democratic Congress has named Julius Kwame Anthony as its new NDC Deputy Communications Director, a move aimed at tightening the party's messaging machinery under President John Dramani Mahama.
The Functional Executive Committee approved the appointment during its meeting on Tuesday, October 13. The party says Anthony brings a sound understanding of communication strategy needed to articulate the policies and achievements of the NDC government.
His appointment reflects the Party's commitment to strengthening its communications machinery and enhancing public engagement. His role is expected to deepen public understanding of the administration's direction, particularly within the framework of the Reset Agenda.
The Party is confident that Mr Anthony will bring dedication, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility to his new role. He will work collaboratively with the Communications Directorate to advance the NDC communication objectives.
Official Voices of the Party
The press release signed by Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey clarifies the chain of command for media engagements. It states that Messrs.
Godwin Ako Gunn, Kakra Essamuah, and Julius Kwame Anthony are now the voices of the NDC. Media houses are requested to accord Anthony the necessary recognition in the discharge of his official duties.
This expansion comes as the party seeks to sustain the gains being made under the leadership of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama.
The Functional Executive Committee congratulates Mr Julius Anthony on his appointment and wishes him every success as he assumes this important responsibility in service to the Party and the Ghanaian people.
All media houses including print, electronic, and digital media organisations are asked to take note of this appointment. The party believes this structural adjustment will effectively articulate the programmes being implemented across the country.
