Full List: Newly Elected National Executives of the NPP at Kumasi Congress

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has sworn in a newly elected national executive committee to steer the party toward the 2028 general elections following overnight vote tallies at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Former General Secretary John Boadu staged a major political comeback, claiming the National Chairmanship with 2,888 votes over former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko (2,408 votes).

Incumbent General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua secured the largest victory of the night, recording 4,486 votes to retain his seat at the head of the party administration.Meanwhile, former Awutu Senya East MP Mavis Hawa Koomson won the National Women's Organiser contest, and Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover assumed the National Organiser portfolio.

  • 2nd Vice Chairman: Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B) — 3,061 votes

  • General Secretary: Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK) — 4,486 votes

  • National Organiser: Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover — 2,964 votes

  • National Women’s Organiser: Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson — 783 votes

  • National Youth Organiser: Abanga Fuseini Yakubu — 1,550 votes

  • National Treasurer: Alfred Kojo Thompson — 2,243 votes

  • National Nasara Coordinator: Mohammed Ali Suraj — 372 votes

The newly elected leadership team was officially sworn into office early Sunday morning, taking charge of party administration and campaign restructuring ahead of the 2028 general elections.
