iPhone 18 Pro Price Starts at $1,199 as Apple Adds 2TB option

The iPhone 18 Pro price will start at $1,199 in the United States, while buyers choosing the larger iPhone 18 Pro Max will pay at least $1,299.

Apple confirmed the pricing after unveiling its latest premium smartphones at its September event. Both models will begin with 256GB of storage and will also be offered in 512GB, 1TB and, for the first time on the Pro line, 2TB configurations.

Customers can choose between burgundy, glacier, silver and black finishes. Apple has not announced official prices for Ghana, meaning local costs will depend on import charges, exchange rates and retailer margins.

Preorders open September 12

Preorders will begin at 5 a.m. Pacific Time on Saturday, September 12, across more than 65 countries and regions. The first devices will reach customers and stores on Friday, September 18, according to Apple’s official announcement.

A further 20 markets will receive the phones from September 25. Ghana was not included in Apple’s initial list of launch countries.

The iPhone 18 Pro can be purchased in the United States for $49.95 a month over 24 months. The Pro Max monthly price starts at $54.12 over the same period.

Apple is offering between $175 and $885 in instant credit to customers who trade in an iPhone 13 or newer model.

Separate carrier promotions will provide credits of up to $1,200 for an iPhone 14 or later, including eligible devices in damaged condition. The actual value will depend on the network, phone model and condition.

Apple Upgrade, a leasing programme operated with Klarna in the United States, offers 12 month and 24 month terms. The company says payments can start “as low as $34.99 per month” over 24 months for eligible customers.

Accessories carry separate costs

A TechWoven MagSafe case and FineWoven MagSafe wallet will each cost $59. Clear and silicone MagSafe cases are priced at $49.

Apple will also sell a wrist strap for $29 and a crossbody strap for $59, adding another layer of spending for buyers who want the complete setup.

The company will release iOS 27 as a free software update on Monday, September 14. Some functions may be restricted by language, location or local regulation.

The new Pro models offer more storage and updated hardware, but they are not cheap. For buyers outside Apple’s first wave of markets, the final retail price could climb well beyond the American figure.
