About 50 young Ghanaians are expected to gather at the Stanbic Incubator in Accra on December 5 for Recalibrate 2.0, a practical planning and accountability programme designed to help participants enter 2027 with clearer goals and a workable execution plan.

The initiative is spearheaded by Tobi Jane Davidson, founder of No Excuse Circle, with SweetFMOnline serving as the event's media partner to amplify awareness and encourage participation.

Recalibrate 2.0 is built around a simple problem that confronts many young people at the end of every year. Goals are often written down, resolutions are made, and enthusiasm is high, but the structure needed to turn those intentions into measurable progress is usually missing.

The programme is designed to address that gap through guided reflection, planning, accountability and continued coaching.

The initiative is a working programme rather than a motivational conference, with participants expected to review their 2026 performance, identify their most important priorities for 2027 and leave with a written execution roadmap.

Beyond New Year Resolutions

The central idea behind Recalibrate 2.0 is that progress requires more than ambition.

No Excuse Circle argues that many young adults already know what they want but struggle with clarity, consistency and accountability. “The gap is rarely ambition. It is structure and accountability,” it added.

That distinction matters for students, young professionals, entrepreneurs and early career workers who may already have goals around employment, business, money, leadership, further education or personal development.

Rather than asking participants to create long lists of resolutions, Recalibrate 2.0 will encourage them to narrow their focus to a few priorities that can realistically be pursued and measured.

The programme framework moves participants through five stages: recalibrating, prioritising, planning, executing and accounting for progress.

Participants will review what worked and failed in 2026, choose three to five priorities for the new year, develop milestones and deadlines, identify likely obstacles and pair up with accountability partners.

Participants to Leave With Written Plans

One of the strongest features of the programme is its emphasis on 'leaving the room with actual work completed'.

Participants will be taken through a personal audit of 2026 before moving into vision setting and execution planning for 2027.

The goal execution session will require them to turn broad ambitions into measurable objectives, action steps, timelines and indicators of success.

They will also identify the people, resources and habits likely to help or hinder their progress.

By the end of the programme, participants are expected to have a clear 2027 vision, three to five prioritised goals, a written roadmap and an accountability structure.

The programme also covers money and wealth mindset, relationships and personal influence, mental recalibration, SMART goal setting and the importance of evaluating one’s inner circle.

For young people who have spent several years repeating the same resolutions, the approach offers an opportunity to confront a difficult question: what exactly must change in the way you plan, work and measure progress if 2027 is to produce a different result?

Coaching Continues After Event Day

Recalibrate 2.0 will not end with the December 5 session.

Participants who want further support can continue into an eight week one on one goal setting coaching programme through No Excuse Circle.

The follow up programme is expected to begin in February 2027 and will focus on clarity, accountability, personal discipline and consistent execution.

That continuation is important because many goals fail not during the planning stage, but several weeks later when enthusiasm drops and everyday pressures take over.

No Excuse Circle says its broader mission is to move people “from setting goals to delivering them” through structure, clarity and accountability.

The organisation has previously run initiatives including Envisioning the Year in December 2025 and an Execution Bootcamp in January 2026. Recalibrate 2.0 builds on those programmes with a stronger emphasis on continued coaching after the event.

Young Ghanaians Urged to Register

For young people entering 2027 with major career, business, financial or personal goals, Recalibrate 2.0 is offering something more useful than another list of resolutions: time to think carefully, make decisions and put those decisions into a written plan.

The programme will take place at the Stanbic Incubator in Accra on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Participation is free.

Young Ghanaians who are serious about making 2027 a year of deliberate execution are encouraged to register early and come prepared to work through their goals rather than simply talk about them.

The invitation is straightforward: review where 2026 took you, decide where 2027 should go, and build a plan strong enough to survive beyond January.
